House Bill 164 - Pediatric Hearing Aid Coverage

Kentucky HB 164 is a law relating to pediatric hearing aid coverage. It raises the insurance reimbursement cap for hearing aids from $1,400 to $2,500 and establishes network adequacy requirements for hearing aid services. It was signed by the Governor on April 3, 2026, and takes effect January 1, 2027.

DeafLEAD - Support, Resources, and Grief After Loss

This free virtual workshop, "Support, Resources, and Grief After Loss," is hosted by the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and DeafLEAD Services on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 6:00–8:30 PM EST. Led by suicide prevention and crisis outreach specialists, the workshop covers understanding grief, its emotional and physical impacts, and healthy ways to cope and support others. The event is presented in ASL with voice interpreting.
